Bruno Oribiletti was born on October 5, 1921, in Kenosha, Kenosha County, Wisconsin. He was the son of Frank Oribiletti and Rosa Crosariol Oribeletti.

Oribiletti attended Weiskopf, Washington, and Vocational school there. He joined the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1938 and was a member for two years. Before enlisting in the service, he worked at the Spic and Span Cleaners in Milwaukee. He enlisted in the Marines before Pearl Harbor and was sworn into the service on November 26, 1941. He became a rifle range instructor. Anxious to go overseas for action, he signed with the First Raiders Battalion. He won the expert rifleman and bayonet medals while training at San Diego. He served in Company B, 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Provisional Marine Brigade as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 22, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
