Robert Henry “Bob” Page was born on April 24, 1921. He was the son of John Napoleon Page and Frances Cecelia Busch Page.

He served in Company K, 3rd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 1, 1944, while on sniper patrol ahead of his advancing company, during the Battle for Guam. A gold star memorial plaque was blessed and dedicated to him.
