Victor Pakros was born on May 11, 1925, in Thompsonville, Hartford County, Connecticut. He was the son of Adam Pakros and Anna Niedzinski Pakros.
He served in Company L, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 26, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
