Clarence William Parr was born on November 18, 1924, in Cottage Grove, Lane County, Oregon. He was the son of Otho C. Parr and Annie Westlake Parr.
He served in Company F, 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 25, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
