Donald Clyde Rogers was born on April 22, 1924, in Waco, McLennan County, Texas. He was the son of Thomas Edward Rogers and Eppie Lorena Logan Haney.
He served in Company F, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Provisional Marine Brigade as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 21, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
