Harry Wilbur Sundberg was born on November 26, 1921, in Winnebago County, Illinois. He was the son of Harry Walter Sundberg and Amelia Frances Goodin Sundberg.
He served in Company G, 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 26, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
