Henry Uminski was born on December 24, 1920. He was the son of Andrew Uminski and Josephine Roberts Uminski.
He served in Company K, 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Provisional Marine Brigade as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 23, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
