Joseph Rudolf Valentino was born in 1923. He was the son of Emanuel "Manuel" Valentino and Lillian Rollo Valentino. He served in Company G, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 22, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
