Irvin Walter Wolf was born on January 20, 1921. He was the son of Merle Charles Wolf and Perna Mary Wolf.
He served in Company H, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as a Second Lieutenant during World War II. He died from his wounds received in battle on July 23, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
