When Orson Wareham was born on February 9, 1921, in Ferron, Utah, his father, Hartley, was 32 and his mother, Lacoran, was 31. He had six brothers and two sisters. He entered the military service in Colorado. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in the 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on April 8, 1945 and is now buried in Netherlands American Cemetery and Memorial, Margraten, Eijsden-Margraten Municipality, Limburg, Netherlands. He also has a marker in Ferron City Cemetery, Ferron, Emery County, Utah, USA.
