Leo J. Brady was born in 1921, in Chicago. He was formerly a mechanic at Stewart Warner Corporation. He entered the army in April 1943 and served in Company K, 330th Infantry Regiment, 83rd Infantry Division, as a Private First Class and a MOS 504 Ammo Bearer. PFC Brady died on August 6, 1944, during the liberation of Saint-Malo, in France. He was buried at Brittany American Cemetery and Memorial, Saint-James, Departement de la Manche, Basse-Normandie, France, and was awarded the Purple Heart.
