Jesus Casas was born on October 27, 1923, in California. He was the son of Flepia Casas and Geromio Casas. Jesus was employed as an auto serviceman before enlisting in the service on December 29, 1942.
Jesus served in the 507th Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, as a Private during World War II. He was Killed in Action on June 11, 1944, during the Battle of Graignes in France. Pvt Casas in now buried in the Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France, and was awarded the Purple Heart.
