Claude W. Young was the husband of Mrs. Anna B. Young of Concord. He entered the service on February 6, 1943 and left for foreign fields on October 1, 1944. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private in the 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on April 16, 1945 in Germany. His current burial is unknown.
