Harry Wright was born on October 27, 1915, in Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado. He was the husband of Irene E. Argo Ross. He served in the 357th Infantry Regiment, 90th Infantry Division, as a Technician 4th Grade during World War II.

T4 Wright was Killed in Action on August 6, 1944, during the liberation of La Bazouge-des-Alleux, France. He is now buried in the Brittany American Cemetery and Memorial, Saint-James, Departement de la Manche, Basse-Normandie, France. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
