Stanley J. Davis was born in 1907. He was the son of Stanley Davis and Mary Davis Benca. He was employed in Columbia Mills, West Pullman before his induction in March 1941. Stanley served in Company B, 127th Ordnance Maintenance Battalion, 5th Armored Division, as a Private during World War II. Pvt Davis was Killed in Action on August 6, 1944, during the liberation of Cosse-le-Vivien, France. He is now buried in the Saint Stephen Cemetery, Hamilton, Butler County, Ohio, USA.
