Robert W. Edwards was born on October 28, 1921, in Charleston, Wasatch County, Utah. He was the son of Glen Raymond Edwards and Vienna Clyde Edwards Henline. He graduated from Wasatch High School and was a scout leader of the Charleston ward troop before entering the service on November 19, 1942.
Robert served in the 357th Infantry Regiment, 90th Infantry Division, as a Sergeant during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 5, 1944, during the liberation of Mayenne, France. Sgt Robert is now buried in the Heber City Cemetery, Heber City, Wasatch County, Utah, USA.
