Glenn L. Jordan was born on February 23, 1925, in Davidson County, Tennessee. He was the son of Clarence Elmer Jordan and Anna Bell Alsup Jordan.

Glenn served in the 116th Infantry Regiment, 29th Infantry Division, as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 5, 1944, during the liberation of Vire, France. PFC Jordan is now buried in the Mount Juliet Memorial Gardens, Mount Juliet, Wilson County, Tennessee, USA.
