Born on July 21, 1923 in Kudlow City, Mass. Served as a Waist Gunner on B-17 (42-38191) of the 350th Bomber Squadron, 100th Bomber Group. He was KIA on May 19, 1944 on a mission to Berlin. His body washed ashore in Denmark in July 1944 and he was buried in the Rodby (Kirke) Churchyard cemetery where he remains buried.
