Born on Birth: 6 Dec 1891 (or 1895) inCrookhaven, Co Cork, Ireland.William arrived in New York in 1915 on the SS Laplandand he lived in Buffalo, NY. Served in the 307th Infantry Regiment, 77th Infantry Divsion in WW1. Killed in action on September 19, 1918, most likely at the end of the Battle of St. Mihiel. Remains returned to Ireland in 1921 on the SS Orloch Head. Buried in Kilmoe Burial Ground, Goleen, County Cork.
