Albert Miles Adams was born on March 27, 1921, in Sparrow Bush, Orange County, New York. He was the son of Miles R. Adams and Gladys G. Linkey Adams. He worked in the Erie railroad before entering the service on October 8, 1943. He served in the 318th Infantry Regiment, 80th Infantry Division, as a Private during World War II.

Pvt Adams was Killed in Action on August 17, 1944, during the liberation of Argentan, France. He is now buried in the Sparrowbush Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrow Bush, Orange County, New York, USA.
