Thomas Adamczyk was born on December 21, 1915. He was the son of Jennie Adamczyk and Joseph Adamczyk. He worked in the Presses Steel Company before enlisting in the service on July 8, 1942. He served in the 318th Infantry Regiment, 80th Infantry Division, as a Private during World War II.

Pvt Adamczyk was Killed in Action on August 20, 1944, during the liberation of Argentan, France. He is now buried in the Holy Trinity Polish National Cemetery, Stowe Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, USA.
