Lynn L. Geralds was born on January 9, 1916, in Monroe County, Kentucky. He was the son of James O. Geralds and Ernest Lestie Cleary Geralds. He enlisted in the service on September 30, 1942. He served in the 318th Infantry Regiment, 80th Infantry Division, as a Private during World War II.

Pvt Geralds was Killed in Action on August 20, 1944, during the liberation of Argentan, France. He is now buried in the Ardennes American Cemetery and Memorial, Neuville-en-Condroz, Arrondissement de Li�ge, Li�ge, Belgium.
