Edward W. Schiebner was born on December 20, 1920. He was the son of John Fredrick Schiebner and Vera M Graham Schiebner. He served in the 318th Infantry Regiment, 80th Infantry Division, as a Private during World War II.
Pvt Schiebner died from his wounds received in battle on August 18, 1944, during the liberation of Argentan, France. He is now buried in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Owosso, Shiawassee County, Michigan, USA.
