Albin Leo Jaeger was born on March 4, 1915, in Aurora, St. Louis County, Minnesota. He was the son of John Jaeger and Agnes Schuss Jaeger. He was married to Helen Louise Grebenc Simonich. He served in the 8th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division, as a Private during World War II.

Pvt Jaeger was Killed in Action on August 31, 1944, in France. He is now buried in the Epinal American Cemetery and Memorial, Epinal, Departement des Vosges, Lorraine, France.
