When Edwin L. Fisk was born on April 19, 1917, his father, Phillip, was 26 and his mother, Minnie, was 18. He had one brother and two sisters. He enlisted in the Army on May 1, 1944. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in the 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on February 28, 1945 and is now buried in Forest Home Cemetery, Waverly, Tioga County, New York, USA.
