Armand Peter De Clemente was born on September 26, 1911, in Schenectady County, New York. He was the son of Eugene De Clemente and Erichette Dey Fabio. He worked in the Union News Company stand at the Philadelphia ferry before enlisting in the service on March 7, 1941. He served in the 28th Infantry Regiment, 8th Infantry Division, as a Staff Sergeant during World War II.
SSgt De Clemente was Killed in Action on August 27, 1944, during the Battle of Brest, France. He is now buried in the Brittany American Cemetery and Memorial, Saint-James, Département de la Manche, Basse-Normandie, France.
