Bernard Baron Adams was born on November 25, 1929, in Mobile County, Alabama. He was the son of Burma Adams and Bessie Allen. He served in the 24th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, as a Private First Class during the Korean War.

PFC Adams was Killed in Action on August 29, 1950, during the Battle of Pusan in South Korea. He is now buried in the Oaklawn Memorial Cemetery, Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama, USA.
