Earnest Marvin Andrews was born on October 6, 1931, in Montgomery County, Alabama. He served in Battery C, 38th Field Artillery Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division, as a Sergeant and Automotive Mechanic 2d Echelon during the Korean War.
Sgt Andrews was Killed in Action on November 30, 1950, during the Battle of Chosin Reservoir in North Korea. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
