Everette H. Langford was born in November 1917 in Hemingford, Box Butte County, Nebraska. He was the son of Walter Langford. He worked in a production of rubber goods before enlisting in the service on June 23, 1941. He served in Company B, 307th Engineer Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division, as a Sergeant during World War II, and was stationed in Burbage before the D-Day landing.
Sgt Langford was Killed in Action on June 6, 1944, during the Normandy Invasion. He is now buried in the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, Colleville-sur-Mer, Département du Calvados, Basse-Normandie, France.
