Harry Heath Aldridge was born on March 31, 1932, in Fairmont, Marion County, West Virginia. He was the son of Howard F. Aldridge and Flo Aldridge McIntyre. He attended Phoenix Union High School and was a copy boy on the Phoenix Gazette until his enlistment. He enlisted in the army on November 11, 1949, and went to Japan in March 1950. He served in Company C, 1st Battalion, 19th Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division, as a Private and Light Weapons Infantryman during the Korean War.
Pvt Aldridge was Killed in Action on July 16, 1950, in South Korea. He is now buried in the Saint Francis Catholic Cemetery, Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona, USA.
