Frank Sais Baca was born on January 8, 1933, in Apache County, Arizona. He was the son of Patricio Chavez Baca and Elisaria Saiz Baca. He served in the 38th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, as a Private and Light Weapons Infantryman during the Korean War.

Pvt Baca was Killed in Action on October 9, 1951, in North Korea. He is now buried in the Saint Francis Catholic Cemetery, Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona, USA.
