Alden R. Noble was born on December 18, 1920, in Mechanicville, Saratoga County, New York. He was the son of Harry J. Noble and Gertrude LaBelle Noble. He served in the 397th Infantry Regiment, 100th Infantry Division, as a Private First Class during World War II.

PFC Noble was Killed in Action on April 2, 1945, in Sinsheim, Germany. He is now buried in the Lorraine American Cemetery and Memorial, Saint-Avold, Département de la Moselle, Lorraine, France.
