Robert Bulger was born on March 8, 1922 in Detroit, Michigan. He served in WW2 in the 346th Infantry Regiment, 87th Infantry Division in Europe. He was KIA on December 20, 1944 and is buried next to his brother 2nd Lt. Martin Patrick Bulger, Jr., KIA 22 DEC 1943 while serving in the 700th Bomber Squadron, 445th Bomber Group. Father was Martin P. Bulger born Canada. Mother was Margaret M. (Herron) Bulger born Canada; she lost her only two children with Martin Bulger in the U.S. service during World War II.
