Seichi Arakaki was born on March 22, 1931, in Wahiawa, Honolulu County, Hawaii. He was the son of Seiji Arakaki. He served in Company B, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, as a Private and Light Weapons Infantryman during the Korean War.

Pvt Arakaki was Killed in Action on September 26, 1952, in North Korea. He is now buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
