Hiroshi Asada was born on April 12, 1931, in Fukugawa-cho, Tsuno-Gun, Yamaguchi Ken, Japan. He served in the 27th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, as a Private First Class and Light Weapons Infantryman during the Korean War.

PFC Asada was Killed in Action on January 4, 1951, in South Korea. He is now buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
