Satoshi Goto was born on February 20, 1924. He was the son of Sadao Goto and Sakae Goto. He served in Company A, 1st Battalion, 5th Infantry Regimental Combat Team, as a Private First Class and Light Weapons Infantryman during the Korean War.
PFC Goto was Killed in Action on August 23, 1950, near Chindong-ni, South Korea. He is now buried in the Maui Veterans Cemetery, Makawao, Maui County, Hawaii, USA.
