Yoshio Hagiwara was born on January 27, 1925. He served in the 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, as a Private and Light Weapons Infantryman during the Korean War.

Pvt Hagiwara was Killed in Action on January 31, 1951, in South Korea. He is now buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
