Patrick K. Hamada Jr. was born on February 6, 1934. He served in the 17th Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division, as a Private First Class and Light Weapons Infantryman during the Korean War.

PFC Hamada was Killed in Action on August 26, 1951, in North Korea. He is now buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
