Jiro Hirokane was born on February 10, 1926. He served in the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd Infantry Division, as a Corporal and Interpreter Designated Language during the Korean War.
Cpl Hirokane was Killed in Action on October 21, 1951, in North Korea. He is now buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
