Mark Masashi Inokuchi was born on January 14, 1929, in Sunrise, Platte County, Wyoming. He was the son of Taro Inokuchi and Hanayo Inokuchi. He served in Company E, 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, as a Private First Class and Light Weapons Infantryman during the Korean War.

PFC Inokuchi was Killed in Action on March 30, 1951, in South Korea. He is now buried in the Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes, Los Angeles County, California, USA.
