Yeikichi Balbino Itokazu was born on August 10, 1928. He was the son of Junyei Otokazu. He served in Company F, 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, as a Sergeant and Light Weapons Assault Crewman during the Korean War.

Sgt Itokazu was Killed in Action on April 5, 1951, in South Korea. He is now buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
