Sueo Koyanagi was born on October 10, 1932. He served in the 31st Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division, as a Private First Class and Light Weapons Infantryman during the Korean War.

PFC Koyanagi was Killed in Action on October 16, 1952, during the Battle of Triangle Hill in North Korea. He is now buried in the Maui Veterans Cemetery, Makawao, Maui County, Hawaii, USA.
