Kenneth A. Misaki was born on April 2, 1932. He was the son of Masataro Misaki and Uta Misaki. He served in the 1st Marines, 1st Marine Division, as a Private First Class during the Korean War.

PFC Misaki was killed in action while engaged with enemy forces in Korea on April 6, 1953, during an ambush near Hill 90 involving a patrol from COP-2. He is now buried in the Kapaʻakea Cemetery, Kaunakakai, Molokaʻi, Maui County, Hawaii, USA.
