Wilbert Yoshitada Miyasato was born on August 13, 1924, in Hawaii. He was the son of Tsuneko Miyasato. He served in Company B, 1st Battalion, 5th Infantry Regimental Combat Team, as a Corporal and Light Weapons Infantryman during the Korean War.

Cpl Miyasato was Killed in Action on October 14, 1951, near Chinyon-ni, North Korea. He is now buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
