Hiroshi Nagamine was born on November 13, 1930, in Waikapu, Maui County, Hawaii. He was the son of Yasufusa Nagamine and Kamado Kaneshiro Nagamine. He served in the 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, as a Sergeant and Light Weapons Infantryman during the Korean War.
Sgt Nagamine was Killed in Action on June 20, 1951, in North Korea. He is now buried in the Maui Veterans Cemetery, Makawao, Maui County, Hawaii, USA.
