Earl Kenneth Nore was born April 8th, 1920 in Sidonia, North Dakota. His parents were the farmer Oscar Clarence Nore (1897-1972) and Stepfalena Amelia Davick (1896-1974), both native of Norway. Earl had five siblings. Earl Nore was trained at Sheppard Field, Texas and went overseas in March 1943.
