Satoshi Nakasato was born on July 29, 1925, in Hawaii. He was the son of Matsu Nakasato. He served in the 34th Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division, as a Private First Class and an Infantry Reconnaissance Scout during the Korean War.

PFC Nakasato was Killed in Action on July 20, 1950, in South Korea. He is now buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacifi, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
