Paul Buchanan was born July, 25 1919. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Alex Buchanan, steward and matron of the Cedar County home. He had two brothers and three sisters. He entered the service June 20, 1941 as one of nine young men from Tipton, Cedar county. He died in the crash of a B-24 over Alings�s, Sweden.
