Warren Takaaki Nishihara was born on September 20, 1924. He served in the Headquarters, X Corps, as a Master Sergeant and Chief Interpreter Designated Language during the Korean War.

MSgt Nishihara was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on June 20, 1951. He was presumed dead on December 31, 1953. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
