Milton Tsutomu Onomura was born on April 12, 1931. He served in Company I, 3rd Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division, as a Private First Class and Light Weapons Infantryman during the Korean War.

PFC Onomura was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on June 25, 1952. He was presumed dead on December 31, 1953. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. He also has a cenotaph in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
